No real surprise here! I’m only surprised that it took so long. To be fair, NCORR has done a horrible job leading disaster recovery in Eastern N.C. under current leadership. I just hate it that Eastern North Carolinians got the short end of the stick for so long.

What I love most about my work, is that I get to drag my daughters with me. I am planting the seeds of advocacy and what justice means. On Saturday I had the pleasure of partnering with the @ncbudget.bsky.social to discuss the city of Raleigh’s budget for affordable housing with Raleigh Refund.
