I was really hoping for more snow in NC! However, this comparison still applies.#estateplanning #legacybuilding #wealthgeneration

I guess the “American First” crowd doesn’t like it when they are labeled “unqualified.” The irony of it all. #DEIkarma #H1BVisas

No real surprise here! I’m only surprised that it took so long. To be fair, NCORR has done a horrible job leading disaster recovery in Eastern N.C. under current leadership. I just hate it that Eastern North Carolinians got the short end of the stick for so long.

I am glad that alumni at Saint Augustine are organized around the fight to save their university from developers, and lenders who they think are trying to grab their land.https://www.wral.com/video/several-community-advocates-condemn-terms-of-7-million-loan-to-saint-augustine-s-university/21732107/

What I love most about my work, is that I get to drag my daughters with me. I am planting the seeds of advocacy and what justice means. On Saturday I had the pleasure of partnering with the @ncbudget.bsky.social to discuss the city of Raleigh’s budget for affordable housing with Raleigh Refund.
