I'm 3 hours into Ciconia phase 1, and wow. The pacing is on point, the characters very fun. I'm glad I started with Higurashi and Umineko, because seeing how Ryukishi develops as a writer is incredible.
I do however worry about phase 2. Is this what the Silksong crowd has been feeling?

I just finished Expedition 33, and it's a masterpiece that will live rent free in my head for an incredibly long time. I don't even know how to begin to talk about the experience I had. Really looking forward to whatever Sandfall comes up with next.

I've not even played Hollow Knight, and I'm not above jokeing about unreleased games, but that Silksong trailer joke at SGF was in incredibly poor taste. Just bad form. Not cool, Geoff.

I finished reading And Then There Were None today, and I'm left with this one question; why didn't I read it sooner? Like years ago? It's incredible.

I finished Umineko, and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to recover. Which would be the second time Ryukishi07 has done that to me. Peak, 10/10, want to force people to read the When They Cry VNs.

I haven't even finished the first act, yet I can already tell Expedition 33 is gonna be my GOTY. It's incredible. Shoutout to the soundtrack which is rapidly taking over all my playlists.

I'm knee deep in Umineko episode 4, I've got more than 20k words of notes, I spend every waking moment trying to solve the mystery. I wish all games had gameplay this good.

Seeing Ryukishi07 so excited talking about Silent Hill f means it'll be my first Silent Hill game (I was actually sold seeing he's the writer in the reveal). There's no writer I'd trust more to write a horror story in this kind of setting after reading Higurashi.

Finishing a big ol' jrpg in a week over the holidays. I haven't done something like that since I was a teen, very nostalgic. Trails to Azure is a very good game.

Just finished Trails from Zero and what an amazing game in an amazing franchise. Sure it's past midnight, but what if I just take a little test of Trails to Azure, you know, just to see if it runs properly?
