Myself, just got a Rancilio Sylvia and Stile dialed in and did a double espresso before a quick sprint on the bike for an hour. Perfect. Will repeat tomorrow. Q: Will two doubles make it even more perfect? Let's see.

Add: for money. Plus, a federal pension.

The man was one of the greatest in so many ways.

And Sleepy D is once again fighting the war with the eyelids. So much praise is just too soothing, it seems.

Huh. It was Subaru's top exec who was sneering at EV's all of a decade or so ago. Like, it was not going to be a thing in the foreseeable future.

Warp drive exists, I guess.

Oh, I thought it was the Adventure of the Dancing Men.

So your photo of The Donald looks like a mashup of Jabba the Hut and late stage Palpatine.

Which fits quite well physically and morally, except that both Jabba and Palpatine were very sharp mentally, all the way to the end.

Oh no, he spoke truth in the Trumpverse.

This must be why is is a deadhead fed hair or whatever that brain short circuit was.
December 10, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Um, whoa. It's so hard to keep up with the firehose of lies, crime, grift, graft, theft and murder that is the Trump admin.

Could you source this, please? Have mercy.

I am sure she was just seeing him as a consultant on the subject of being a total asshole who figured out how to leverage washed-up. Resemblance between the two is increasingly uncanny. Bobo and Kid Rockhead, I mean.
December 10, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Well, Trump is going for the "Really bad and stupid things Putin would do but has not yet done list" as well as the "Really bad and stupid things Putin already did" list. Tanker on the former. Invasion of Venezuela on the latter under "pending."

Correct! Unless The Donald is speaking, in which case the actual number is 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% made up.

About once a decade, he accidentally states an accurate stat. And he talks an awful lot. Like, an incredibly huge amount.

Also, had two Irish ancestors at Gettysburg, both Union, one on Little Roundtop fending off the flanking effort. One a nice guy after, the other not. Possibly PTSD.

Nice page, what's the book, please?

This is not really about foreigners. It is preparation to police and then limit speech by U.S. citizens. To compare, the Nazis started with the disabled, communists, Jews and foreigners, then everybody else.Speaking against Der Führer was unofficially frowned upon-until it became officially illegal

Well there are a couple of passages in the Old Testament, in Leviticus for example, that are used as the foundation for anti-gay stuff. In the New Testament, bupkis. But cherry picking is a main mode for the religious right.

Well I agree we should have started earlier, like around the time that James Hansen testified before Congress in 1988. But here we are, and Germany is way, way ahead of the USA in that regard. Politicaly tho, they seem to be converging with us, which is bad.

Indeed, Leavitt is capable of firing 300 lies a minute.

Leaving aside the whole Freudian reveal by Trump here, of course.

By the way, the United States also imports energy.

U.S. electricity imports 2023| Statista
The United States imported 38.92 terawatt-hours of electricity in 2023 from its neighboring countries Canada and Mexico.

"In the first half of 2025 . . . the share of renewable electricity in Germany's net public electricity generation was 60.9 percent"
Yes, but Germany is in the European Union, a member state, and this goes both ways depending on the grid

So complete facts, yes

Net Public Electricity Generation in H1 2025: Solar Power on the Rise Across Europe - Fraunhofer ISE
In the first half of 2025, Germany and many other European countries gener-ated more solar power than ever before. This was offset by lower electricity generation from wind energy.

Which is great.

But is Alice Weidel still promising to rip out wind turbines once the AfD takes power? Because if Merz can't get more done in a hurry, that's where things are going.

Watch the audience watching Trump's first affordability speech. It is like watching people putting their own head on the stump and cheering as the executioner sharpens his axe. Things like Jonestown make a lot more sense now.
December 10, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Maybe it's just the AMOC saying it is really upset that we are killing it. Too bad it can't aim at targets more suitable.
December 10, 2025 at 10:33 AM
The cult aspect is writ in blinking neon here as the audience for the most part applauds their own decline, with enthusiasm.
