The group is invite-only though; to make sure it all stays in good company.

It's clear at this time that the group is looking to expand. We aren't doing anything more than community building, collecting clothes/food for winter and supporting a military veteran immigrant. If there were good reason to keep the secret, I definitely would!

I hate the pilgrim/indian trope they feed my kids about everything being hunky dory but I like the lesson of slowing down and naming what you are thankful for every year.
