Yeah it’s awful. Many smaller communities don’t have a branch and rely on us, the bigger sites, to mail books to folks who otherwise wouldn’t have anything.

We do get our budget from the province. The Feds provide a lower book rate for us through Canada post. If that gets removed we won’t be able to afford to pay the regular rate.

90% of my job during the day is processing and mailing out loans to people across the province. I also provide books by mail to people who live too far from a branch. This may be cut, too :(
