Before taking on Act III in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I went hard for four hours taking on a bunch of optional bosses. Needed my Maelle to reflect my descent into the madness. Then someone in my chat made me change it to something less insane. So now I pass it on to you.

My top Spotify albums are all video game soundtracks because they’re great for my autism. Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy VI, a Sim City recreation, The Last of Us Pt 2, and of course Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion.

After some holiday misadventures, finally played a lot more of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and I made it to Act III. It is the only 2025 game to make me cry, and I know there's more. Onward. For those that come after.

Made it to Act II of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 before my flight. It was so good, it made me haul my laptop with me just so I can keep playing it.

Was I supposed to wait until later to take on Bourgeon in Clair Obscur? I did it on the third try, but it took 14 minutes on normal difficulty lol.

Clair Obscur has given me a weird fear of mimes and also rewarded me for learning the game's mechanics so I can make the mimes go away faster.

Went on a “leave the place” adventure to Logan Arcade in Chicago and it’s a really solid place to spend a bunch of quarters.

First threeish hours of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 complete! I am actually having a lot of fun so far AND I felt EMOTIONS. Luna's my favorite so far though my opinions may change.

For those wanting to see how The Outer Worlds 2 plays out, I'm running a new second character this week on Very Hard. Almost completely new stat roll (except lockpick). But this time with KNOWLEDGE!

Outer Worlds 2 has a big river on the first planet you need to cross. One way is a drawbridge, but if you have a high combat sprint speed you can just jump across the gap if you're in a hurry.

My biggest critique of The Outer Worlds 2: invisible walls. The parkour was a vast improvement over the first game, until I started hitting invisible walls. Was hoping to get on this hanging train for some scenic views.

Rolled credits on The Outer Worlds 2 finally after racking up 70+ hours on a single save on Very Hard. It was fantastic. A definite recommend from me if you don't mind your action RPGs being less open in favor of a tighter narrative. I'll post more thoughts over the weekend.
