Originally intended this as a #landscape value #sketch … but I decided to add a bit of #coloredpencil, then suddenly the whole #drawing was done... and of course I completely forgot to take pictures of the grayscale. But vast improvement over past attempts at shadow and lighting #art #urbansketching

Lighting has not been a strong point in my recent works. So with the encouragement of my bff, who looked at me said “you’re going to hate this, but…” I’ve been working with grayscale to understand color. Future under layer for #paintings in my #art #landscapepainting process. #sketchbook #dailyart

Struggled with this one a lot! It was waay outside of my color comfort zone, and reworked it 3 times. Inspired by the environmental #conceptArt in arcane and the Zaun color palette. #art #painting #acrylic #color title “oh shit! Is that the party mage?” #mixedmedia #sketchbook

Trying out some new paint - #gouache #acrylic. These things are an absolute pleasure to mix with. I’m super impressed at the color saturation. I’m using a 3 color pallet here; red, verdian and true blue. Everything else us mixed on the paper. #art #sketchbook #painting #sketch
