I can't think of any platform that undermines the 10 principles more than Meta. The fact that the community is so embedded into Meta products is sad as fuck.

They reactivated my account when I logged into Messenger on my computer. I really hate them. Only reason I haven't deleted is access to burn ticket groups during burn season. 😆

As a tester, now about 11 years into the role, the need for my services will only grow when companies start feeling the pain. This stuff is cyclical and we've been here before.

Ah yes, testing gets the shaft. At best, the bugs are an inconvenience. At worst, the bugs kill people. But we don't need testing.

So true. I used to enjoy being on LinkedIn because of the networking and also got connections that led to a couple jobs. That was pre-2021. Now it's a total shit show. I deleted most of my posts, I don't make any posts on my profile anymore. It's not fun anymore

The book is a good read and look on social and gender inequalities of that age. Hated the 2013 movie. I expect regular updates as you go.

Maybe they should revisit the Code of Ethics we are all taught in journalism school. I didn't become a journalist, but I remember one of the tenets was to seek the truth and report it.

The party doesn't listen to its base. When over 70% of your base says they want a candidate to run who can beat Trump, it's time to listen. But all they did was ignore. Biden's legacy will be that he helped Fascists rise to power. Hope he's good with that.

I deleted it a month ago and deactivated fb two month ago. Haven't seen a reel since. It has been great. Now my social media activity is basically checking my Bluesky feeds once in a while. I'm ok w that. Also my brain feels much better w less info overload.
