Don't disagree, but only white male politicians are allowed to display naked ambition, to desire power for its own sake. Kam doesn't have that luxury, which makes everything she says sound somewhat disingenuous. Perhaps a better politician could overcome that but we shouldn't dismiss the misogyny.

Location is the only thing. He seems to like living in DC and being on the East Coast makes it easier to travel to his family in Dubai. But from a soccer perspective, even us DCU fans wish we could support a different team.

Sure but then you've got to move one of the Midwest teams to the South. To preserve rivalries you don't separate FCC or Crew and you don't separate KC and St Louis and you can't remove Chicago from the Midwest. So that leaves you with Minnesota in the south?

So this passes Senate and goes back to House. Perhaps enough non-cave Dems and GFY maga types that it can't pass there? Forces House back in session (218th vote for Epstein petition) and puts pressure on House Rs crazy caucus. That's the charitable read. The actual read is prob just that Dems suck.
