Okay, Chihiro Yamanaka, I was not familiar with your game. Great random Apple Music pick-- and a make or break first track with Maple Leaf Rag.
I don't know if it's legit but, as I once read an article about Cuphead using a cartoon style rooted in racism, that song always sounds that way to me.

Afternoon's listening. Love Bill Kwan's _No Ordinary Love_, covering the songs of Sade, but this one has gotten less frequent listens. Today, though, the title took me immediately back to the karaoke of _Lost in Translation_, which I adore, and had to give it another play. Smooth, sensuous, cool.

Been discovering the recordings of Keith Jarrett over the last few weeks. The second-most amazing thing about him after his playing is that per Apple he came to fame after a fully improvised 75-minute concert in Köln?! I had hesitated: surely it can't be THAT good. So far? It can.

Finished my first Booker nom of the year and it blew my mind. A story floating like clouds across the sky, ever morphing into new and unexpected forms all the way to the very last page. Astounded. #booksky

Second listen of this one today. Been listening to Ólafsson more since his Grammy win and while I enjoyed his Goldberg variations this one's grabbed me much more. Have enjoyed Philip Glass in the past but these études in particular have hooked me more than any previous recording.
