I usually don’t make Universal and Disney comparisons because people take things weirdly personally. But, a theme park creator I like said Epic Universe will be a great park in 15-20 years. Come on. There is no way anyone would grade a Disney park on such a huge curve.

Really neat thing, having kids who play retro games and fill the house with the same sounds you did 30 or even 40 years ago.

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. But 2 days before Christmas last year, I was giving my mom’s eulogy. Still can’t really get into the spirit. I’m trying.

I haven’t read, seen, or heard anything about Universal in months. I don’t know if that’s a function of what Bluesky shows me or what.

I’m the only person on Disney social media who loved this show.
Rivers of Light was a nighttime spectacular that ran at Disney’s Animal Kingdom from 2017-2019 in its original formatting. The show featured water effects, projection mapping, fire effects, and even live performers!

One downside of having done the first stage of my career in DC is knowing a limitless roster of people who run for Congress eventually. If I donated to them all, my Disney budget would be decimated.

My first time dealing with an AI chat bot for “customer service.” I exclaimed “human!” 10+ times. It just kept asking if I needed any further “assistance.” I said, “You suck” and it transferred me to a human.
