i particularly love how the final "level" of description here is moreso a sense of immersion in/with the item (if that's the right way to put it) rather than an additional layer of detail, it communicates familiarity (among other things) in a way that really makes the brain tingle...

more people should know about a house of many doors… it’s sad that games inspired by sunless sea didn’t catch on as much as they should’ve and tbh aHoMD has stuck with me way more than either sunless sea/skies… i guess this recommendaction only works if you like both of those games already lol
