Working on a really nasty little short piece right now, actually inspired heavily by @Nikki | Nocturnal Narrator’s Olivia series (read it. Read it right now.) Might get to 7 - 10,000 words, we’ll see.

I am learning that I really struggle to write in past first-person, but present first comes very naturally to me. Even present second feels pretty normal to me at this point but I can’t seem to get a bead on past first.

Talked to a friend in publishing and apparently horror is very much on the uptick. I’m not really much one for catching waves but the idea of being an up and comer in a horror resurgence is exciting.

I was sitting at my desk, after completing a project and then thought, “Well, I can either do my taxes or I can work on my story.”
