Golden Globe nominations feel scattered. 2024 where cinema progressed not only through the usual suspects—international, independent, gritty, and hyper-realism—a bold, visually daring films like Wicked deserved more praise. Cinema needs to take risks visually, not just in how dramatic the story is.
