I’ve been feeling really numb today, just dumbfounded by the choices this country has made and how there is such a large portion of the country doesn’t care about people’s rights. My heart is aching just thinking about what’s to come. All I can do now is stand by those who need it most.

One Piece is honestly one of the best stories to read that revolve around corrupt governments. Oda was definitely inspired by real life events and wrote this story so younger audiences could truly see the evils that lurk within.
