When my Audi TT was nearly written off (brand new, 5 days old, when someone ran into the back of me) I got a Rover 75 2.5V6 courtesy car. It was like driving a sofa, made a lovely sound. But I was overtaken, cut up, not let out more in that car than any other.🤷♂️

It’s getting worse to be young. Education loans, fewer vacancies, insecure work and no chance of owning a home.
At 23 I had a degree, a house, company car and an excellent salary. And we expect these youngsters to be productive?

Excellent thread. It would take serious courage to do the correct thing and increase the rate of taxation. As Labour, rather stupidly, shut the door on any tax rises their hands were tied. Unforgivable, but looking at the last sixteen months not surprising…

There has to be a more equitable way of increasing pensions. Removing the triple lock completely will mean more and more pensioners falling into serious poverty. To keep it is unsustainable in the long term.

With glorious irony it’s called The Chippy, 402 Shankill Road. If you do make it, when you go in ask for Rab and say I sent you in. There’s a sit in so you can eat in if it’s easier or take it out to eat in the hotel. Will feed you and the driver.
