ICYMI, I spent the entire day on Friday watching Netflix's "Monster: The Ed Gein Story" and then reviewing it.

It was neither an appealing activity nor an appealing show. Audiences keep lapping up these shows about how the audiences lapping the shows up are the REAL monsters.

There has to be a story about what happened to the post-production budget on "Play Dirty." It isn't just that the special effects are DELIGHTFULLY awful — like... even the CG snow — but the sound design is bizarrely bad.
