He's my next model up for painting, haven't actually read the rules yet. What kind of split of boltshotguns to revolver and knives is recommend. My guys are magnetised so I can swap them out but if I can avoid painting loads of extras that'd be good

Overall, I really enjoyed the book, even enough that I briefly entertained making a new video on it. Might have to pick up the new supplement they kickstarted and would definitely run it again in the future!

5. Im not without critique; the Rapscallion classes card mechanics seem a little half baked. I often feel that if you're going to have the "deck of cards" class, you should fully dump the dice in favour of card drawing. The best version of this I remember was the Lucky ability in ICRPG.

4. My players loved the character creation tables loads of variety, and all the characters end up being entertaining odd in their own special ways. It also made death at the table not be so much of a burden as it was so quick to get another weird little pirate rolled up!

3. Ship combat rules are some of the best I've seen, I'd love to see a similar ruleset in a sci-fi game in the future. Each action being driven by the player captain calling out to the player crew feels great at the table.

2. Art in the book is beautiful and evocative. General design from an aesthetic point of view is great! Each page has something new, but it still feels cohesive. Book craft wise, the 2 ribbons are very nice, and the inside cover being roll tables is great!
