Her continuing the cycle of the paintress prolongs Verso's suffering, espeically because he asks her to let him die. I find her ending to be selfish rather than for the good of those who inhabit the painting. Not to mention that her mother would likely still be wasting away outside of the painting.

Do you know if this will impact the cancelled government union contracts?

Ghoulish behavior you piece of shit.

To me it seems that reagan was a bright line point in the post new deal backlash. I might also add in covid as a recent thing too since I think it also profoundly broke people in ways we’re only starting to see now
June 19, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Where do you think the reagan years factor into this or do you see more of a dividing line post-clinton?
June 19, 2025 at 7:11 PM
Oh damn, you got me. I'll never recover.
June 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM
You're jumping to a lot of conclusions.
June 17, 2025 at 4:51 PM
No, because it's a small disagreement online and you're telling me that I'm an asshole. I really don't think gender has anything to do with it.
June 17, 2025 at 4:44 PM
That's a weird thing to say to someone you don't know.
June 17, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Maybe I am, who can say. But you're certainly bringing a lot of emotion to an online disagreement.
June 17, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Now now, you're the one who made an accusation. I'm just stating my opinion in response to something I saw that I thought seemed disingenuous. Sometimes people just have disagreements.
June 17, 2025 at 4:22 PM
You got me, I'm in the pocket of big-foot.
June 17, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Who is "they"?
June 17, 2025 at 4:06 PM
About what? That npr took her statements out of context to create a headline? There are a myriad of things to critisize elected dems over, including klobuchar specifically, but it makes no sense to do so over this.
June 17, 2025 at 4:03 PM
Have a good day, go get some fresh air.
June 17, 2025 at 3:58 PM
You're missing the point then. I don't think a general call for civility and a call to reduce rhetoric from a subset of people are exactly the same.
June 17, 2025 at 3:57 PM
I think you're putting too much faith in elected dems. It comes down to the people. I will say, I'd like to see them grow a spine and skewer mike lee to make an example of him.
June 17, 2025 at 3:56 PM
So are apples and oranges my guy. Learn to read with some context. Who is reading npr besides libs? It's clear shes talking about republicans.
June 17, 2025 at 3:54 PM
I've seen other sens chastize mike lee and call for data brokers to be addressed. That seems like a start.
June 17, 2025 at 3:53 PM
She's specifically speaking about elected officials in Minnesota speaking with one voice. Should they not? Rhetoric is sufficient for people to perpetrate violence, should that not be addressed as well?
June 17, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Where does she call for civility? It's pretty clear she's speaking about republicans. It's a bad statement to be sure but the editorialization by npr is not a reason to lie about what she said.
June 17, 2025 at 3:38 PM
There's no point in the transcript where she calls for civility, she asks for rhetoric to be toned down, and it's fairly clear she's referring to republicans. I'm not of fan of her but there's no point in lying about what she said.
June 17, 2025 at 3:36 PM
Did you read the interview or just the headline?
June 17, 2025 at 3:03 PM
Please go repeat this for the people who lost their loved ones. Is murdering Palestinians also responding to an existential threat?
