As it is the spookiest week of the year, I read 'Cry Out Loud' @taraocomics.bsky.social. I wish this was longer, because I wanted so much more about the village and the weird relatives, but I am always here for Irish folklore and healing generational trauma. Every eldest daughter should read this.

We had about 2" of snow last week, resulting in a snow day for myself and the Child™, and I was reminded of what a snow dog George is. He raced outside with his tooth treat and spent about an hour just hanging out in the snow.

I need everyone to know that I CRUSHED IT at mtg last night. My girl Ellivere never steers me wrong 🥰

The second set is the commander Ellivere of the Wild Court, who has several enchantment cards, including one that renders her indestructible (also good). This amazing book FILLED the workroom with the smell of nostalgia (that goooood vinyl). Like a sexy version of my 4th grade trapper keeper.
The book "hell ladies" by Junko Mizuno rests atop several comics. The book is made from that puffy vinyl that smells good to elder millennials. The light pink cover features a turquoise and pink cartoon of a hell lady wearing lingerie and tall boots, and holding a doll and a wand topped with a jizzing bottle (?). The book is labeled with a "mature audience" rating.
