Has anyone else tried a WSL 2 daily driver laptop and run into the above problems?

I'm curious to know if there's some configuration I need to change that would make this noticeably better. For now, my plan is to switch back to a Mac M-chip laptop for work travels.

The above annoyances happened nearly any time I shut my laptop for a period longer than about 10 minutes.

It makes using WSL 2 as a daily driver on a laptop nearly impossible.

Sometimes after a WSL reboot, any terminals that attempted to run inside WSL would hang permanently.

Like, open Wezterm, and the shell never starts. Wezterm itself was fine.
