A little late to the party, but it's finally time for the watch party.
15 years ago, arrived in New Vegas for the first time, little over a year ago, we had Season 1 of Fallout released, now the two are finally having their sequel story told.

Since late September, been working on a big project for a client. After a lot of tests, ref hunting, stress, self loathing and imposter syndrome, I sent off the images for approval.
Two words made it worth it; “great job”. You could have played the smile jingle from Smiling Friends here.

Posting without context but this is "The big project" related. It was the first one I drew that was not concept/trial. Was very pleased with this as I felt I captured the description perfectly (I'll tell more at a different time).

Fallout Season 2 has The Ghoul enter an abandoned vault.
It’s Vault 22.
Gets infected by the plant spores that killed the original inhabitants.
Becomes a spore carrier.
Pretends the footage is for a Walmart ad.

Playing some spooky stuff for the spooky month. I’m reminded why I adore Mr X as a stalker enemy because he still manages to make me let out a high pitched yelp all these years later.

I collect badges like they were Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps for my satchel, but my most recent find is a most valuable reminder.

It’s extremely reassuring to know that despite everything bad that is happening, everything will be ok, we still got 52 years to go before it all goes REALLY bad!

Did some layout work then went to sleep.
Woke up and found myself unable to fall sleep again (enemies clearly nearby).
Did an entire redraw pic with Anhz because drawing her in Rouge’s place is really fun.
Went back to sleep.

The Big Project update.

Drew Struzan was a huge inspiration for me in terms of movie poster design. His "The Thing" poster remains one of my all time faves for its ominous design and quick thinking backstory. I have fond memories of recreating it once for a College project.
