“For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages” (I Timothy 5:18).
“Muzzling the ox” (letting an animal work without food) is analogous to denying a worker his due pay. Wages are a right and just claim, not a favor.
