They both should have made the CFP. What damaged the Committee's credibility is taking 3-loss Bama, whose final 3 games (already w/ 2 losses, including FSU) was the Little Sisters of the Poor, almost losing to 4-7 Auburn, and getting blown up by UGA. No excuse for taking such weakness but $EC/E$PN.

Hoyer's record speaks for itself. Apologize for it all you want, but he runs the #Cubs like a small market team that can't take risks on quality pitching. And the team doesn't need a $$$FA 3B.

That #9 seed properly belongs to ND. And my two favorite teams each Saturday are whoever is playing them and TTUN. This is nothing but $EC good ole boys taking care of a Bama program that couldn't do it themselves and shoveling bs to try to make it acceptable. Coaches Poll got it right.
