I have a Type 1 diabetic kid, & the number of times people just off the cuff refer to someone overweight as having "the diabetes" is incalculable. My kid did nothing wrong besides wake up one day to a pancreas that stopped making insulin. No amount of diet or exercise will help himl only a cure will

My son gets so annoyed when I mutter “cowards draw” during Eagles games, but now that he’s not invested he knows weakness when he sees it.

You need a B10 fan who's ok w/ stolen valor to boost their own. Top schools & blood rivals won't buy it. Bottom feeders & doormats won't. But a former elite looking to legitimize their own sad sack standing? Give these away for free at Nebraska & they'll be all over South Padre at spring break.

They really aren't buying anything at this point. A reputation takes years (or decades) to build, but can be destroyed in less than a day. CBS already did that for attuned people, and its just gonna get worse as more folks check in and catch a wiff...

I remember San & Diane together as being a bit insufferable too in Season 5, so I kind of liked the return of animousity with Kirtsie Alley the next year

Oddly, I went down a Youtube wormhole last night & watched 7(!) sequential videos of Cliff's greatest moments, plus a video of John Ratzenberger getting the part bc he knew every NE bar needed a know-it-all (w/ keys - find it!). Despite his flaws, Cliff was earnest. None of these folks are

Not a Gump advocate, but this summation seems a bit cruel? He's low IQ but relentlessly, earnestly, dedicated, while she's high IQ but completely lost spiritually & emotionally. The movie dumbs it down, but what happens to them is fated by who they are at their core. In better telling, a great tale.
