Slightly odd, but mostly pleasant experience.
(Would have been entirely pleasant except the cage the wedges came in and the hike to the bogs)

Hanging above a fireplace are a set of labeled socks. Polly's is just green Wazzer's is the only one a different way round. Shufti's is nice and simple. Carborundum's is huge. Igor's has many fixes sbd stitches. Maladict's is elegant and dark. Tonker and Lofty are a pair.

A little early for the second house of @mitchbenn.bsky.social doing a live reading of A Christmas Carol so chanced my arm with the venue bar.
Managed to work out where the great man was in the story before I could make out the words from intonation.

Science 'nerd' guilty of making explosives in shed of mum's Bedfordshire garden A self-styled “nerdy” science geek - who had a life-threatening allergic reaction to one of his own experiments - has been found guilty of making explosives in his garden shed. Harry Whittaker created a makeshift laboratory in the garden of the home he shared with his mother, the Old Bailey was told. They included: black powder, blank ammunition and a round of live ammunition, chemicals, lethal poisons, and suspected improvised explosive devices. Police also uncovered radioactive materials and white phosphorus, a substance which can spontaneously ignite in air and is so dangerous that it had to be destroyed by controlled explosion by the military, the court was told. Following his arrest, police uncovered a stream of racist chat on WhatsApp in which Whittaker directed hate towards a mosque in Luton.

I couldn't hear most of the scenario that the two small people were making up at the tram stop. But "pirate security" came up several times.
I must have misheard the last thing before the tram arrived because it sounded like "we can get away if we break the film" probably just wishful thinking.
