It was a pleasure to teach our @thegreatleap22116.bsky.social cause-of-death coding course at @monashuniversity.bsky.social in Melbourne with colleagues joining from Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand.
thegreatleap22116.bsky.social
The training covered:
🔍 Identifying key elements for accurate coding
⚠️ Highlighting components that should be flagged
🧩 Parsing strategies for both natural and violent causes of death
💡 Practical coding techniques—selecting and applying ICD10h codes efficiently.
thegreatleap22116.bsky.social
Over the course of two intensive days, participants delved into best practices for tidying and analyzing cause-of-death data. 📊
