Just to emphasize this, I was raised white American. I don't mean this in a racist or derogatory sense. Simply that my cultural identity was... not there. Not Irish, not Polish, not Bohemian. Just kinda an empty space.
There are a lot of truly horrible people working hard to fill that space.

So obviously it is a health code violation, and it negatively impacts the restaurant with an occupied seat generating no revenue, BUT ALSO:
If I'm eating at a nice Italian restaurant, I don't want to smell your greasy burger. That ruins my meal. A dinner out is an *experience*, not just fuel.

Okay I don't want to dunk on our overworked National Park staff as I might just be wrong here, but...
What with American Samoa being in the Southern Hemisphere and today therefore being their Winter Solstice, isn't it their shortest day of year?
Not that it makes a big difference in the tropics...

Getting to 15 depends a bit on how you count their earliest releases, but Heartthrob was amazing both on its own merits and also in how Tegan and Sara were finally able to stitch together many of the threads that had been separated in their music for years.
