What I do is rough sketches of the shape of the hair, worry about detail after! A lot of things in art are just shapes, get the general look for the hair then go in and add detail. If that makes sense :p

I believe, don’t push yourself either!! I did a lot in high school which led to me taking over a year break on drawing. But I’ve gotten back into it and not be overly confident but I feel like I’m better than ever with improvement. You got this!! I’m here if u need anything too ^^
