How come I vote for my local judges to represent the judiciary in my hometown, but the permanent installments of the highest court in the land that dictates constitutional law for decades is appointed by a single temporary partisan pundit creating a biased partisan court?

Can we stop trying to spin nepotistically pardoning someone as good? -- No one cares that past presidents did it, no one cares what the fascists would do. It's not okay to throw people in camps because someone did it before. It's not okay to usurp justice for personal reprieve from consequences.

Pardons as a concept shouldn't be a thing. But people aren't ready to have that conversation. -- If distrust in the Judiciary is a fundamental function, and disregarding a group of peers for the will of a single elite isn't indicative of a functional justice system.
