My late father would have loved Blue Sky because of all the photos of the birds posted here. After he retired he became a bird watcher. And then he began collecting small figurines of birds. His collection is the nicest remembrance I have of him.

@spribille.bsky.social is this Xanthoria parietina? Or possibly X. aureola? This is in eastern Newfoundland, on seaside cliffs. I know X. aureola is a European species(and X. parietina is common in NL), but the narrowish lobes had me wondering if it might be X. aureola.

I invariably despair at "science" articles in mainstream media. This is a discussion around whether psilocybin should be used to treat mental health issues, because the clinical trial results are very good. Counter to this is a guy who took "LSD" recreationally at 18
