I won’t speak to Charlie’s abilities as an editor—that’s for others to decide. But I do have concerns about some of the pennames Charlie’s chosen to work with. Maybe it’s all innocent. But at best? It shows a stunning lack of judgment that Charlie should address.

Okay. I am curious then as to why you would edit a book involving sex scenes with children. And then later when this author was called out publicly you still stuck by him. It's so many shades of eww.

That must be a lot of pressure and I sympathize. But I will say it pays to trust your instincts. Like you did in 2019 when you called out a certain YA author for predatory behavior. You were right about him btw -- despite being tricked into backtracking and apologizing later.
