Hey Pro tip. If you’re staying at a hotel, feel free to order yourself a DoorDash or UberEats. But for the love of God, give them your room #, or ASK the front desk agent before you just instruct the driver to leave it there.

Fun story, I often listen to Fish as I fall asleep, and I play it slowed down, so the music doesn’t jolt me awake. It also makes them sound significantly more drunk, which delights me.
Today I turned it on and it had defaulted back to standard speed and they sounded like crackheads. It was great.

Fun story, I often listen to Fish as I fall asleep, and I play it slowed down, so the music doesn’t jolt me awake. It also makes them sound significantly more drunk, which delights me.

so a few months back I had a guest that runs a Lush store. He was so kind and we had such a great convo about Korean chicken, he asked what my preferred scent profile was because he wanted to bring me some samples as a thank you.

Just when things feel hopeless at work, and everything is going so quickly downhill, a guest drops by with a Christmas card just for me.

And pissed that I asked to clock in AFTER she went over a bunch of work stuff with me, and she denied me the extra 10 minutes… that she was discussing work changes.

Is it ridiculous that I’m pissed I didn’t get my time off for my dad’s 70th birthday/ retirement party because my manager has season tickets to the Chiefs… and is unwilling to miss one game? Is that unreasonable of me? Should I be more understanding..?

One of my favorite things about working part of the time at an extended stay hotel is that I get to meet a lot more dogs. My favorite one checked out last week, so today will be my first day back when I won’t get to give Buddy his daily pets 😟
