Ya could winnnnnnn🎉 >>>>> Open to everyone, everywhere, freely. This is my favourite *"competition" every year. *Please don't think of it as a competition, but as a bit of an excuse to experiment with sound in absolutely any way you can. There's no rules (beyond the rules below!!!) This year: up to 10 words in any way you'd like to use them - and everything has to be your own work, nothing copyrighted or AI. And that is it. Make a soundscape or music or a tiny play, a feeling, whatever you fancy around the theme of "Visitor". No previous experience in audio whatsoever required. No entry fees. And you can always record something that's made in a completely analogue way, as long as you can get it into an mp3 to send it across. All the rules are below, but there aren't many. Have lots and lots of fun! (Thanks to Michael Hudson for this year's graphic). ____________________________________ ). ____________________________________ 60 - 90 SECOND AUDIO FICTION COMPETITION - SOUND EFFECTS, MUSIC, BREATH… and 10 WORDS ONLY! PAINT A PICTURE WITH SOUND This competition is open from now until midnight (GMT) on 19th October 2025. It is free to enter, and is open to anyone, anywhere, of any level of experience*. You can enter with up to 3 pieces if you enjoy making them! The theme this year is “Visitor”. . Five entries will be picked by an Audio Drama Hub panel and will be showcased at the Audio Drama Hubfest on 1st November… where those present will choose their favourite to receive a small prize. . Entries must: … be 60 - 90 seconds long … be an MP3 (labelled just with title, NOT your name, to keep anonymity) ... use sounds, music and or breaths to tell the story. … This year, as we are focusing on voice acting, you may use up to 10 unique words (which may be repeated) in a sentence, sentences or used abstractly. ... only contain Creative Commons 0 fx and music, or your own foley/music. It's a celebration of human creativity, so please no AI. ... be as experimental as you like and have lots of fun! (Please be aware that this will be played over speakers in the hall, so please do check that there’s no clipping distortion in your original sound). . .
