I attended lectures by Friedrich Hund when I was a student. I never talked to him either because I'm stupid too. I was scared to death.

That is definitely true. The German physics literature from that time period is a gold mine. Very few articles were translated, such as those by Einstein and some of Schrödinger. Much of it has a style that is much more beautiful, direct, and concise compared to today's literature. 🧪
