Hemlock and I are back at it again 🥴
It's been a nonstop fight in a few spots on the ranch.
I've tried a handful of methods, but it keeps coming back in the same patches.
Probably should've waited for the ground to thaw a little more before I started 😅

Feels like every time I'm out in the pasture I stumble upon more old fencing that's got to go. Sometimes ranching is just adding more lines to a to-do list. 🙃

I often discuss eastern red cedar—encroachment, fire risk, and uses—but not ticks. When cedar invades grasslands, it creates cool, humid habitats perfect for Lone Star ticks. Wildlife spreads them, increasing disease risk for livestock and dogs. Early winter management keeps grasslands healthy.
