Just a few thoughts on soundtracks - Recently I can’t get enough of Zimmer’s work for the 1st Dune. The choral/orchestral majesty throbs my bones. Same with his work on Inception.
Going back some years, Hancock’s Round Midnight still ranks high as does Dianne Reeves work on Good Night & Good Luck.
