I think they put all their cards on the table for the first one and pulled out when the reception to the second was less good. I think they could’ve gotten at least some technical noms though
Again,not that I care much about award shows in general, but I find it confusing how Wicked: For Good wasn't nominated in any category in spite of Ariana and Cynthia's powerful performances, the fantastic costume design, the marvelous makeup work, and the wonderful production design alone.
