Can a library change a life?

In India, where caste, class, and gender often block access to education, a grassroots movement is building free, inclusive libraries for all.

100 days into this presidency, Americans are paying the price - higher prices, crashing retirement accounts, and broken promises.

But the American people are turning, thanks to your voices. Keep it up.

It's up to us to demand something better.

To all the Law Scholars: Isn't violating the Emoluments Clause an impeachable offense, particularly with foreign interests? Didn't Alexander Hamilton say private profit off the office of the presidency = "injuries done immediately to the society itself”? Let's not forget to add this to the list.

To my Republican Congressman: A reminder that you work for us, not Trump or Musk. Please do your duty and represent your constituents. A 145% tariff on China is unsustainable! Legislate wisely to prevent panic and govern us Constitutionally. Don’t let Trump dictate policy based on his instincts!

After getting some rest, I am in awe of everyone who continues to lift their voice and speak out. This is a moment for our country, and we must make a choice about the America we want to be.

I am proud, grateful, and inspired to be listening to the US Senate livestream of Senator Cory Booker's 18+ hours of patriotism and truth. Every American should be proud that we have Senators protecting our Democracy like Sen. Booker!

As a Rotarian, I live by the 4-way test, and my hope for all of us is that by each of us practicing this simple set of principles, we'll be OK. Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? #rotary #rotaryclub

I'm tired too - but we have to stay vigilant. I think the strategy is to wear us down and then strike harder when they think we aren't paying attention. Stay strong and resist tyranny!
Donald, bring it. I’m so tired of your victimy whiney belly aching crap. You friggin won and you STILL are complaining all the time.

Tomorrow evening at 6:30pm PDT, our MAGA Republican Representative Kevin Kiley (California's 3rd congressional district) has scheduled a call-in Town Hall. It will be interesting to see how our purple district participates.

Embarrassing that Chuck and others just gave a legislative "pass" to Trump & Elon to continue shutting down the government. Oh, wait, weren't they voting not to shut it down? I'm confused!
Senate Democratic leadership essentially played dead today and greenlit the Trump-Musk-Vance coup. What is the point of the Democratic Party if it doesn't actually act like an opposition party? Hello?

Exec. Branch's growing power and the dismantling is eroding democracy and ROL. It's frustrating that we must rely on Congress to defend our Constitutional democracy. A yes vote for the Budget CR supports the Republicans' actions by providing "legislative cover." Democrats must push back and say NO!

I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

President Trump's use of executive orders may exceed his constitutional powers and contradict existing laws passed by Congress and signed into law. Elections have consequences, and the majority party shapes policy; however, established processes and laws govern how policies should be implemented.

Rep. Congressmen: As a member of Congress, you must uphold the law and protect the Constitution. Your responsibility is to serve the people, not just the President. The majority of the American people want our country to lead by example of our democratic values rather than just the strength of will.
