EVERYONE had to grow… we all had to be open to continuous growth.

& we all know there is still work to be done.

did redefining my relationship mean cutting both of them off at some point and/or quietly quitting my role as their child ?? absolutely.

We are all better for it now.

I’m privileged to have parents who love me, even though they didn’t always show or do it the “right” or best way… love was the root.
