This industry gets more unhinged every week. Who should pay here - the customer or the transport company?

They told the customer to pay the locksmith out of pocket because “using their own keys every day” will “cause issues.” Then they started calling nonstop, pressuring them to pay. Like… how is the customer responsible for a dead battery caused DURING transport?

Translation: the driver left an interior light on and drained the battery mid‑transport.
When the customer asked what happened, the dispatcher said:
“Your keys must be defective. You need to pay for a locksmith.”
