Thanks. I had a month to plan it which gave me plenty of time to tweak the encounter. It was so amazing that it worked like I had hoped. Man was she mad at me but she agreed that it was the perfect reason for her to switch oaths and now we get better story arc from it when the bbeg’s right-hand dies

When my paladin player wanted to change from devotion to vengeance I decided to have the bbeg’s right-hand man sacrifice the beloved npc halfling family in a demon summoning. Was an amazing moment that had the paladin player in tears but also very very angry. Oath of vengeance change completed.

They usually find a couple of bags of holding lol.

Plus I don’t play or run d&d to track weight, arrows, rations etc. I abhor gritty games like that. That play style works for some and that’s awesome, I just want nothing to do with it!

Track your character's total weight in your ttrpg/dnd game - a critical moment might depend on it!

There are all price points od minis now. Cheap like reaper bones and stls you print yourself to very expensive pre-painted ones
