Stranger Things finally came to an end, with mixed reviews, primarily due to 1 thing that plagues most Dungeon Masters as well - of course I am talking about pacing.
While we enjoyed the season, it could have been so much better with a few moments done at different times.

Death in D&D is boring! It doesn't just have to be a couple dice rolls and basically sitting out every round of combat! And if your players cast revivify or resurrection, there is a ritual you can do that will add drama to your game!

Roll skill checks for tips but eventually I give up and the next answer solves it lol. Its why i hate puzzles in ttrpgs - that and the player may know the solution but there’s no way their character would so they need the other pcs to figure it out. Such a pain. I try to avoid puzzles in my games
