Yeah it’s something about matching the manga. I’ve just decided to watch every episode including the fillers. Only stuff I haven’t watched are the movies but I might do those too.

And I like that. I stopped watched Gurren Lagan cause of a death.
I still gotta go back and finish Naruto Shippuden for that reason too. JJK almost made me quit too when one of my favorites died.

I accept it’s a part of storytelling but sometimes it turns me off of anime’s.

And I wonder if this is on purpose so when it does eventually happen it hits even more for the viewer.
