I was a hardcore HP fan as a kid/teen and I’m now genderfluid, married to a trans woman and I can’t even stand the sight of it anymore. No separating the art from the artist when the artist is supervillain that hates me and my family. 🥲

The “Harry is like America” comment goes really hard because that kid is just all trauma and resilience. Feels we are in the stage of the book where we are walking with the ghosts of our loved ones on the way to die.
