It looks close, but that's called a 9-pin DIN connector. VGA connectors are the same size, but they have 15 pins.

9-pin connectors like this were often used for serial ports back in the day. You should see how wacky a parallel port or printer port cable looks from back then lol

Most likely looks like a combo midi/SPDIF in/out cable. Probably hooks up to an older keyboard or digital synth.

I'm not an fl user but possibly if you cut intended bpm in half and double the time signature maybe you can get the intended result?

Ex: 8/8 @ 400bpm = 4/4 @ 800bpm
