Not quite sure if there's a single thing, but the character herself, the angle, the swimsuit/armband/glove combo in the design, the thigh squish from the holster band, the eyes, and the background all contribute strongly to it.

Plus, shiny butt in swimsuit.

Apparently the Peri dev is insanely queerphobic, which is kinda funny because if I had to guess randomly I would've told you the game was made by a transgender lesbian based entirely on style and subject matter

After watching a few more episodes... Sharpe now has a larger variety of rifle sounds, but they also use the same knife impact sound effect as in Counterstrike. Kind of makes me wonder if there was a standard sound effect library, or if it just so happened that they were extracted from the same one.
