Currently, hooking non-PC normies like me still presents some significant hurdles that consumers will not be prepared to face if they have been console gamers their entire lives. Very excited for this, and hoping for the best!

In addition to the obvious software and ergonomic improvements coming which will be welcome, one big topic I'm shocked has not been addressed (yet) is the creation of "standard" performance setting recommendation defaults for Xbox Ally. The Xbox brand should ooze simplicity, even in handheld form.

Fully acknowledging that this is a very legitimate pricing problem, but as someone with the Rog Ally X and now excited to grab this I have to say, it has been such a welcome addition to my gaming life as a new dad who only has a limited window to play before bed.

I came here for this comment! My daughter was just born and I want so badly to share this with her one day.

Wow. Bravo Unlocked Crew!

At the end of the year, Ryan, when you score predictions you should get bonus points for this even though it wasn't on the board.

2) Any feedback on how clicky the bumpers are? Handhelds are great for places like winding down before bed and on a plane/train but the Ally X's clicky bumpers can be super annoying for those around you.

Looking forward to getting my hands on the Xbox Ally X!

1) Has there been any discussion of standardized performance settings? This is the single most frustrating thing about (as a console player) moving from my series X to game pass on my Ally X. This will match the vast majority of the market to convert to buying handhelds.

Don't worry guys I bought $400 car mats so when we slog this canopy 1 mile from the beach and have blisters from sand grating our feet we can pretend it won't be stuck to every other surface except those designated for that purpose. At least the car will also smell nice

Seems implying otherwise can only end in crucifixion, being told why I am wrong (despite being an owner for many years), being told I am now a bad person, etc.

We need to apply significant pressure in the right places , but inaccurate Tesla FUD isn't the right move.

A tree hugging hippie adopter of green tech. Now the world has flipped completely, yet I've remained the same.

Elons indefensible actions are obviously indefensible.

But the community vitriol is clouding the true state of quality involved in the Tesla ecosystem, and the positive impact it had.

On the clientele part-- I know nobody on Bluesky will care one iota, but when I bought my Model 3 I was so excited to participate in the clean energy transition finally, and to have the best single product I've ever purchased.

I was honked at, cutoff, and coal rolled repeatedly for being

Think there's anything to read into the fact that these are both premium subscription options?

I assume legacy auto has a very hard time internally funding/ justifying ROI on software correctly, based on how hard it is to shift dynamics of large, old corporates.
