I got home from work to find my elderly father on the ground. He’d been there most of the day.

Spent a month in hospital & was diagnosed with dementia. He’s still in care.

Tell your parents you love them while you can & while they can appreciate it. They wont always be there.

As an atheist that doesn’t celebrate Christmas, is it wrong to still watch Christmas movies at this time of year?

Currently watching Bill Murray in Scrooged & will probably watch Muppet Christmas Carol at some point.

I would also watch them at other times of the year… they’re both good movies!

You know you’re old when your Saturday night plan is have a nap, then wake up and go to bed.

What is the point of Work Christmas parties?

You gather somewhere with a bunch of people you barely know (and some you barely like) and do something that you don’t want to do.

Someone will always do something stupid and you have to pretend you’re not judging them.

Especially if it was the boss.

Why is it that the best thinking you do is right when your trying to go to sleep?

You’ve had all day to think about things that happened 20 years ago, or plan conversations that will never happen… why does the human brain wait till the end of the day?

If there’s one thing I miss about the Covid era… it’s that the masks blocked people’s bad breath.
