Upcycled vintage leather boots - adorned by me with old found objects 🌿

My kid graduated high school in May 2020 - he didn’t buy a cap and gown and decided last minute to participate in the drive through graduation. All I had was gold satin and 2 hours and a tassel from Michael’s. Everyone thought he was the valedictorian 🤣

I made this coat out of old brocade drapes - what a fun transformation!

Made an ottoman this afternoon using an old IKEA pillow cover I got at savers and dyed, the black/tan fabric was at an estate sale and the red trim, I got at a yard sale. The insert was an ugly plastic thing that looked like a log. I think it
was for camping or a child - got at Goodwill for $3

First post here! Vintage haul - my favorite kind of things ❤️ old suitcases & trunks, wooden crates, fishing nets, typewriters…but I also LOVE antique fabric and making /upcycling! I also love going to European flea markets, but this is a local haul - such amazing items!
